Nate Burns
Wedding Officiant - Forks, WA
As a retired military service member, Nate found a natural fit working alongside his wife Charlotte, a wedding photographer, as they help couples bring their special day together. After witnessing the meaning and emotion behind so many wedding days, becoming an officiant felt like a natural extension of the work they already love doing together.
Nate believes every couple deserves a ceremony that feels genuine and true to who they are. He takes the time to get to know each couple and creates custom ceremonies that reflect their relationship, their story, and the promises they are making to one another. Whether it’s an intimate elopement surrounded by the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula or a small, heartfelt wedding with family and friends, his goal is to create a ceremony that feels meaningful and memorable.

FAQ
Do we have to have our own vows?
You may choose the vows that feel the most meaningful and personal to you as a couple. You are welcome to select from pre-written vows or write your own to share during your ceremony. If you choose to write your own vows, this is your opportunity to personalize them and make this special moment uniquely yours.
Will Nate stay up front during the Kiss?
Don't worry I will step aside before the big kiss so you can enjoy this special moment without me in the background of your photos.
Can we personalize our ceremony?
Absolutely! Your ceremony should reflect you two as a couple. I am happy to work with you to personalize your ceremony by including special readings, meaningful details, or other elements that are important to you.
Do we need to memorize our vows?
Not at all! You are welcome to read your vows from a card, have them provided to you during the ceremony, or memorize them if you prefer. The goal is for you to feel comfortable and present in the moment.
