Well first of all, I hope it because you've come across some of my work and already LOVE it!
You should choose me because of the experience I can offer. The time, the attention, the care, and the prep that goes into each and every session is not something you can just get anywhere. I want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, which means we will get to spend time talking and laughing, while taking some beautiful photos in the process.
Every portrait session is unique and I will work closely with you to ensure we create keepsakes that you will treasure forever.
A session with me is all about the love, laughter, and lives shared.

Once you have selected which session works best for you and we set a date, I will email you a contract and a pre-session questionnaire.
I prefer to shoot a mixture of both posed and candid portraits. Having your picture taken should never feel awkward. So rather than posing you in positions that you wouldn't naturally fall into, I will give you simple directions that you can easily do that feel fun and comfortable.
If your session allows for an outfit change, you’ll change outfits and we’ll begin again. If your session allows for multiple locations, we’ll go to the new location.
Your session is as much about the memories behind the images as the images themselves, so be flexible, have fun, and enjoy! I promise to take care of the rest.
Yes, I have plenty of props (just ask my husband). I will have everything needed for your session. You are more than welcome to incorporate props of your own to personalize your session.
Yes! I am always ready to travel for portrait sessions or weddings.
Your session can take place at any location of you choice within Clallam and Skagit Counties. If location is more than 25 miles outside of those counties a travel fee will apply.
These photos are meant to be personalized and if you have a special place in mind I would love to hear about it.
Have fun with it. Choose clothing that reflects you and your family's personalities, but remember it is important to be comfortable too.
Colors do not have to match perfectly, instead find a family of colors that compliment each other. Everyone will be cohesive, yet unique! Don't be afraid to mix and match with patterns and solid colors or dressy with casual!
Consider where your photos will be displayed. Is your home decorated with earth tones, bold solids, farmhouse, or is it bright and airy? This can factor into how you choose your outfits.
Collections are the perfect way to get a combination of both digital images and top-quality products at significant savings compared to an a la carte purchase. All Collections offer wall art prints and high resolution files with print release.
